Broken Castors
*Broken castors have been a foundation color for us since I started as a youth. My first ARBA BOB ('97) and Best of Group winner was a broken castor doe named Kelly's Heather. We won BOS in '99 with another broken castor buck named Kelly's Houston. Our first OPEN BOB('05) was with a broken castor doe, Kelly's Rising Star-pic below. These animals are in the background to all our broken castors.
**Also, are broken castors are ONLY bred to broken castors...we do NOT mix our castor and broken castor line. We also don't use booted broken castors in our lines as booted animals produce MORE booted..if you don't believe me try it for yourself and I bet you will get booted. You can use a good patterned broken castor and keep the pattern that way.

Elvis is a buck from Peggy Campbell who's mom came from our barn and is a High Roller daughter. Elvis has a lot of pattern-hard to find in broken castors and lots of density! We are excited to mix him into our does this spring.

Star is High Rollers grandma and even though she passed away a few years ago her legacy lives on in our broken castor lines. Star had beautiful type..still the best typed Mini Rex I have ever seen to this day...she was a beauty and deserves to be on this page.
